Your mission

As our Head of Sales Benelux Row, your mission is to lead a high performing commercial team while moving upmarket. You will be easing out obstacles in the organisation to unleash the full potential and operational execution of the Benelux/Row Sales Team. This is a high-impact role in our fast-growing and international team.

About the team

The ‘Benelux & Rest of the World’ sales team consists of 5 Account Executives & 1 inbound SDR. The Team covers every region and country excluding the US, the DACH and France. Their mission is to keep the sales engine running, converting lead into long term customers and moving upmarket. You’ll report to the Global Sales Director.

Your 12-month Journey

In the first couple of months, you’ll focus on building solid relationships with each of your team members and learning everything about Recruitee (understanding the product, our customer base and their needs and the ATS space). You’ll also follow the internal sales training (lead qualification (and effective follow-up), how to demo etc) to better understand our sales cycles.

After 3-6 months you'll have set up the basics of how you want to lead your team in a highly scalable manner: creating coaching plans, internal sales training, and you’ve started helping the AE’s move upmarket.

After 1 year, you’ve hired new AE’s growing the team to keep up with the customer demand and most importantly you’ve had a major impact on moving the team upmarket.

What you’ll do

  • Lead a high performing commercial team for the Benelux & Rest of World Market

  • Making sure each of the Account Executives meets and exceeds their targets

  • Drive sales and expand the customer base and generate new revenue

  • Work closely with the Global Sales Director to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives


What you’ll bring to the team

  • Experience as a Head of Sales within a SaaS company

  • 2+ years of experience in successfully leading commercial teams at SaaS companies

  • 2+ years of experience as an individual contributor

  • Experience in managing individual contributors

  • Experience with deals sizes <200k

  • Consultative selling and the challenger sale model

  • Excellent hiring skills (‘hire well, manage less’)

  • A deep understanding of inbound selling

  • Native level of Dutch + Fluent in English

  • Top-notch communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
